This amusing photograph of a shoal of Cardinalfishes was captured by photographer Saeed Rashid, 42, on a scuba dive in Talamban, Bali.
‘Fish often group together for defence or to feed and will line up facing the direction of the current and sit almost motionless.Occasionally they will yawn to stretch their mouth muscles; which is shown here in my picture.’
The Banggai cardinalfish has now been placed on the 2007 endangered species list.
